Our History
Northeast Denver Islamic Center
1999 - today

O
ur journey began as a community in
association with the Muslim American Society in
1999.  Northeast Denver Islamic Center is led
by Imam Abdur-Rahim Ali and is in association
with Mosque Cares and the late Imam W. Deen
Muhammad.  Northeast Denver Islamic Center
is a 501C3 charitable organization.

From 1999 thru 2009, Northeast Denver Islamic
Center was a storefront of approximately 400
square feet.  During those ten years in addition
to operating as a place of worship, we
established a strong ummah of dedicated
believers, and began several programs that
served needs of the immediate community at
large.

Over the last few years it became apparent that
we needed a dignified and larger place of
worship to accommodate the believers.
